Hideousness: Everything Good Is A Thing That Will Never Be Spiral: Bonds of Reasoning
Canon Standing: Epilogue
Age:

...But no, really, she's older than she looks. Definitely 20s.
Birthday & Astrology Sign: November 1st, Scorpio
Arcana: Lovers
Personality:
Funnily enough, the first two images in this app are a startling summation of what Yuizaki Hiyono is like. She has secrets, secrets,
secrets galore. The school's secrets, her classmates' secrets, her
friends' secrets, police secrets...even secrets kept from the police,
by the police, aren't safe. The lengths she goes to just to get this information are frightening, as well -- blackmail and bugging a friend's house are the first two that come to mind. All this, coming from the girly girl who would sparkle like the sun just went down at every chance she gets, like when she first meets Ayumu and puts her information to use for his sake. No one would really expect such a cutesy teenager to be such a terrifying person, right?
Right? (Of course, if you ask the likes of Ayumu Narumi, or Mizushiro Hizumi, they'll most definitely tell you otherwise, but still.) Nope. She's even put this information to use just to take up the position of president at the Newspaper Club...by
threatening its members. Ayumu puts it best in the very first chapter of the series:
"Such a scary girl..."
But then, as stated, she has
secrets, and that includes some of her own that have never been revealed to this day. This girl has plenty of things that she just doesn't let on except in subtle hints over the course of the series. She has access to information that no one else does thanks to the God she's an agent of. She's smart enough to follow the genius level intellect other characters show off, to piece together what is needed, and even follow Ayumu's and her boss' more vague plans to the letter -- one shining example of this is in the battle with two of the Blade Children, Rio and Kosuke. It has to be seen to be believed, how well she keeps up and matches with the two of them in a battle of wits alongside her partner. On top of that, she's also incredibly daring, doing things that no one else would do for the sake of helping Ayumu formulate a plan for the best outcome. The best example of this would be the battle with Kanone Hilbert, in which she -- and there is no exaggeration in this next statement --
slit her own wrist to buy ten minutes worth of time for Ayumu. The lengths she would go to to ensure he succeeds are far and wide, and it shows in that single display. It helps that it's her
job to support him, as given by that same God she works for, although as the manga comes to a close, her support for him becomes more and more genuine. (A crush, perhaps? We'll never know.) That all these clever ideas she puts together on the fly are her own are more than enough proof that she's the best fit for the job.
On the bad side, her peppiness mixed in with her habit of blurting out people's secrets
has most certainly driven people off, or at best, put her at odds with people. The things she does? They no doubt give off some terrifying first impressions. Yet again, her relationship with Ayumu is a shining example of this. The terms she's on with Rio and Kosuke count as well, if their bickering in the Newspaper Club room is any say on the matter. There is also the matter of 'how much of this is real?' when it comes to dealing with her, moreso whenever she hides behind the facade of "Yuizaki Hiyono". She has rarely, if ever, shown her real face to the world at large, and may never do so. It'd be a miracle if anyone ever goads her into that -- especially considering how much of "Yuizaki Hiyono" seems so
real. But to those who can get through her strange first impressions, and actually earn her trust, they have a huge ball of optimism, if a bit too
much optimism, and a stalwart friend on their side.
Perhaps these feelings of trust she gives, and the bonds people share with her might not be real at first. She might still seem distant for all her bubbly demeanor. But in time, that will change.
"Love is something that doesn't seek anything in return", after all.
...Oh, yes, and she has a taser. Beware.

Writing SampleGetting information was hard work enough.
Getting information without your usual sources was another matter entirely. With so little of what she was used to, she has had to adapt, to get with the times, to get used to the way things worked in a city as wide as Hinoto-Ri, moreso with the utter chaos that had apparently passed before she was sent here. That wasn't what was bothering her most at the moment, oh no...it was the city itself, and its nuances that stick out like sore thumbs. She can get that people like 'God' and the 'Devil' can exist. She lived with them for some time, after all. Demons, angels, gods from
mythological pantheons, and Personas, on the other hand? Not so much. There was a fine line with what she knew was believable, and what she knew wasn't, and the last four topics fell squarely into the latter.
But then, with how distracted she was one fine morning with a cutesy little Jack Frost making her a snowman with that cheesy grin on its face, she couldn't help but smile as she went on her way. It was different, yes, but in some ways? It was the sort of different that she liked. It was a new experience, and it was a chance to get back into the swing of her usual habits.
...Well, the habits that belonged to "Yuizaki Hiyono", anyway.
"Hmm...where to start, where to start..." She wandered into the city proper, stopping as soon as she came across a stall full of magazines, and staring at them. Well, if there was one place she could look that was a good start, it was here. Magazines always contained gossip and what not that she could look into for herself. "Ooh, perfect~ Excuse me!" She sauntered over to the clerk attending to it, with the cheekiest, most sickeningly sweet smile she could muster.
Half a minute later, said clerk was shooing her out, and yelling at her. "NO FREELOADERS ALLOWED!"
And so Hiyono was left without even a hint of where to start. Again.
